From News Center (Text by Qin Jing from Teaching Affairs and Practical Training Administration Office; Photos by Huang Tianyi, Chen Xing, Li Qinghong, Zhang Jingjing, Qin Yejing, and Deng Mingting from Convergence Media Center) From March 14 to 19, 2025, LZPU hosted five events of the Guangxi Vocational College Skills Competition for the senior group. Sponsored by the Department of Education of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the events included "CNC Multi-axis Machining Technology Group," "Production Unit Digital Transformation Group," "Digital Product Design and Development Group," "Drinks Service Group," and "Visual Art Design Group." A total of 347 contestants from 44 colleges and 89 teams in the region competed fiercely on the field, showing solid professional skills and good mental outlook.

This competition aligns with the World Vocational College Skills Competition and adopts a new competition system, leading to a tight schedule and a demanding workload.  LZPU places great importance on preparing for the competition, establishing a leading group and developing a comprehensive work plan. The Teaching Affairs and Practical Training Administration Office collaborates with relevant departments and schools to diligently implement all aspects of preparations, ensuring a strong foundation for the smooth execution of the events.

The successful holding of this competition fully demonstrated LZPU's excellent organization, mobilization and implementation level in hosting regional competitions. From the early preparations and venue layout, to the organization of contestants and referee coordination during the competition, to the final work in the later stage, every link was arranged in an orderly manner, showing LZPU's strong comprehensive strength and efficient teamwork ability. With the joint efforts of all staff, referees, volunteers and contestants, the competition came to a successful conclusion, adding an indelible mark to LZPU's history of event hosting.
